Andy Wang has joined us as the new scientific director. Dr. Wang obtained his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 2016 under the guidance of Dr. James Cai. His thesis work focuses on understanding the genetic basis of phenotypic variability or randomness in a broad range of biological systems such as the human population. From 2016-2018 he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center under the supervision of Dr. Traver Hart. His postdoc work fled to the development and application of a new method for identifying chemogentic interactions from highly sensitive genome-wide CRISPR screens.  Learn more about Dr. Wang's research.
