Translational Science Laboratory (College of Medicine) and The Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine will be holding Proteomics/Genomics joint interest group fall orientation meeting on Sept 10, 2018, at 11:15 AM Room #1303.

The Translational Science Laboratory houses state of the art equipment including Thermo Q Exactive HF, Thermo Orbitrap-Velos, ABSCIEX 5800 MALDI-TOF/TOF, Waters Xevo TQ-S and Illumina Hi Seq 2500, NovaSeq 6000, 10X Genomics and provides end to end services that include all aspects of proteomics, metabolomics, mass spectral imaging and genomics from sample prep to data analysis.

The Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine (CGPM) aims to enable research programs by providing consulting, data analysis support, and training for research projects with genomic components. The CGPM’s primary goal is to relieve the analytical bottleneck of genomic research projects by providing data analysis services using both established standard data analysis workflows and with the development of custom data analysis methods and applications.

We intend to conduct seminars, workshops and technical discussions related to proteome, metabolome and genome analysis.

The fall orientation meetings will be held on Sept 10, 2018, at 11:15 AM in Room #1303  where we intend to provide an overview of the facility and the services available to you all. Please come armed with your suggestions and/or questions to make it a fruitful discussion.
